flow depth

Depth, or height of the tsunami above the ground, at a specific location as indicated by flow markers such as piles of debris, impact scars on tree trunks, dead vegetation on trees or electric wires, or mud marks on building walls.
The inundation height is the sum of the flow depth and local topographic height.
